How it works

Point, tap, done.

Check before you pay, right there at the stall, the counter or the taxi rank.

A hand holds a phone up to a ceramic tagine, framing it in the camera.
  1. Point at it

Food, drinks, souvenirs, gold, carpets, tickets: anything for sale. One item at a time, filling the frame, in good light.

  2. Add what they’re asking

Type it or say it. If the price tag or the menu is in the photo, it’s read for you.

  3. Get the verdict

What locals usually pay, the same range in your own currency, a verdict stamp and a tip for haggling.

The verdict

Fair, high or overpriced.

Fair Price compares the asked price with what locals usually pay: an AI estimate of the local range, blended with reports from travelers nearby when there are enough of them.

Overpriced
